What Does "Chrisal Clean" Mean?
 When cleaning with a traditional product, rather than a probiotic cleanser, often biofilms are left behind. These biofilms are intricate masses of microorganisms growing on a solid surface. Biofilms are typically found submerged in or exposed to some watery solution.
Biofilms consist of many types of bacteria and archaea living within a slimy matrix of excreted polymeric compounds. This medium shields the pathogens within it and smoothes the process of communication through chemical and bodily signals.
Bacteria existing within a biofilm can have appreciably dissimilar properties from free-floating bacteria. The dense and sheltered environment of the film allows bacteria to cooperate, interact and thrive.
